Bluetooth might have a silly name, but it’s a pretty handy technology for wireless devices to have. Thank to bluetooth, we now have cool wireless headsets to wear while driving, integration with cars and an easy way to synchronize your cellphone and computer.
Since I don’t have a bluetooth-enabled car, I just use it for a bluetooth headset and to get stuff on and off my phone. With Float’s Mobile Agent and an inexpensive bluetooth dongle, it’s so easy to setup appointments on Outlook and send it off to your phone with a single click. Same goes for editing phone contacts, sending text messages and moving pictures taken with my phone on to the computer. I wonder how I survived with IrDA for so long.
That’s just the beginning too, the possibilities are endless really. You have bluetooth keyboards, mice, printers and a whole host of devices that (hopefully) will communicate gracefully with each other in a giant RF connected world… better get those tin-foil helmets on! ![]()

Bluetooth? What? Huh?
Oh right, I don’t have Bluetooth on my phone.
You damn techie!
PS: Congrats on your domain name, now just avoid being hacked
All I need to complete the techie look is a short sleeved white shirt with a floppy disk in the pocket.
