I couldn’t resist any longer. Today’s smoking deal on the Dell 1905FP was too good to give up. Several clicks and $420 poorer, I got myself a new monitor! Can’t wait for it to come and replace my Dell 21″ CRT. It’s giving me serious headaches. The colour is off, the bottom bit of the screen is all screwy and it just plain feels old.
I was debating between the 1905FP and the 2005FPW, but it’s just not worth $180 to upgrade to the larger monitor for me right now. I’ll definitely miss the potential of 16:10 gaming/movie watching though. Gotta get used to 1280×1024 too, too used to 1600×1200 now!

Does it come with DVI?
Yeah it’s DVI and hopefully I get the new screen which is 8ms rather than the 20ms stated by Dell (most likely).
It also comes with the DVI cable which is like $20 if you buy it elsewhere.

Nope I’m not going to Calgary for a looooong time.
I’ll be here but it’s gonna be busy next week. Might be heading up to Victoria for a quick break after Christmas too.
Can’t wait for the trip to Victoria after my exams. Yeah, there’s really not much to see there but it’ll be a cool chance to hang out with the friends that we’re going with
