If you’ve always wanted to eat at a fancy restaurant like Lumiere or Gotham’s but never had the budget to do so, now’s your chance!

Over 140 of Vancouver’s top restaurants are participating in this year’s Dine Out Vancouver. There are 3 fixed prices for the various restaurants: $15, $25 and $35. Although most of the good stuff is in the $35 section, there are plenty of fantastic deals in the $25 price point too. The official website even has menus for all participating restaurants up, together with suggested wine pairings, so you can decide what to eat in advance.

As for which restaurants I am going to, I’ve made reservations for just one: Il Giardino. I would love to try more, but many of the popular choices have been inundated with hundreds of phone calls and emails, so I’ve decided that it’s futile to try further (not to mention I’m broke).

A couple of the $25 menus have caught my eye though, and I’ll be investigating further into trying at least one of them during this great promotion.
