The original Bellini was created in 1945 and named after Giovanni Bellini, a famous Italian artist who painted with pinckish hues. The Bellini is made from the white peach, which has some red in the centre, so when you blend it, it turns pink. The Milestone Bellini (and Moxies version for that matter) are just riding on the coat tails of the name. There is barely anything related to the original drink in either. But, they still taste good.
