Sad news for me… as my application for a work permit was NOT approved. Apparently they require the company to try to employ any Canadian who has a Comp Sci degree ahead of me. It’s a pity that they don’t take into account intangible assets like people like me can offer. I don’t know what’s going to happen now, gonna consult with an immigration lawyer to see what options I have available to me.
