Esther and I had dinner at a “comfort food” place called Burgoo along West 10th tonight. They primarily serve hearty food like soups and stews, although they do have sandwiches and fondues. The stews appealed particularly to me. I chose a cup of beef bourguignon, which is basically stewed beef, with onions, carrots and mushrooms. [...]
