[...] I went back to the poor Japanese restaurant with no business that I mentioned earlier for lunch today. It was as empty as ever, with only 1 other table occupied when we got there. The lunch boxes are even cheaper than the dinner special. I had a box with chicken teriyaki, california rolls, tempura and salad for just $5.95! Sure they give you less tempura (1 less shrimp and some vegetable), but I’m not complaining.
Awwww... I've never really had good sushi in Singapore. One of the good things about living in Vancouver is that seafood is cheap and plentiful and thus sushi restaurants (mostly run by Chinese though lol) are dime a dozen here. I passed by the same restaurant on Saturday at 130pm and it was deserted! It's not gonna last long like this. :(

I was reading this going, "Oh, great! Sounds delish! Gotta find out the name of this place and check it out." But then I realize you're posting from Vancouver. Drat! Jim and I are sushi addicts lately. Yum.
