Perhaps the owner likes to play chess? Despite the spelling snafu, I actually ordered it and I can confidently say it did not come with little pawns in curry. It was actually quite decent actually… but there are better places to go to. Sometimes I wonder how they can compete, they all serve the same style of food at the same prices. There isn’t much to distinguish one from the other.
Speaking of good places to go to, Aberdeen Centre’s food court has some serious good chicken wings. It’s to the left, between the Thai stall (which has cheap lunch specials at $3.99) and Singaporean food stall (which is quite mediorce unfortunately). There really isn’t that much to eat there, the only other thing that appeals to me there is the takoyaki, which isn’t really a meal.
