Dinner tonight was made all that much better by the fantastic Chinglish in the following menu items.
In case you can’t read it, here is what they say (from left to right):
- Beef tenderlion, is this some cross bred cow/lion combo?
- Sea cucumber intestine (!) with green, what’s wrong with just sea cucumber… and what the hell is green? Did they mean greens?
- Three kinds of bird, did they run out descriptive names to name the section? How about poultry?
Despite the awful menu translations, the food was pretty good so I guess it was forgivable. Is it that difficult to get someone who is bilingual to translate the menu properly? At least they have an english menu, unlike so many restaurants in Richmond.
